Privacy policy
Updated: 2026-10-18
1. Who handles your data
The website notreal.lt is operated by NOT REAL (founder: Inga). The legal form of the business is being registered; full company details will be added here once it is. For any data question, write to inga.bankauske@gmail.com.
2. What data we collect and why
- Contact form: the name, email and message you enter. We use it only to reply to your request. Basis: your request to get in touch (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- Site analytics (Google Analytics 4): switched on only with your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). It collects aggregated data: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, session length.
- Technical data: the site is hosted on GitHub Pages, so your IP address and browser information are temporarily visible in the hosting service's logs.
3. Cookies and local storage
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics visitor statistics (with consent only) | up to 2 years |
nr-consent (local storage) | Remembers your cookie choice | until you clear it |
theme (local storage) | Remembers light or dark theme | until you clear it |
You can change your choice at any time: .
4. Who receives data
- Web3Forms — processes contact form messages and forwards them to us by email.
- Google — Google Analytics (with consent only) and Google Fonts. Fonts load from Google's servers, so Google receives your IP address.
- Cloudflare (cdnjs) — the animation library loads from their servers, so they receive your IP address.
- GitHub — website hosting.
Some of these providers are outside the European Economic Area (e.g. the USA); transfers rely on European Commission decisions or standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages for as long as needed to reply and work together, but no longer than 12 months, unless the conversation becomes a contract, in which case we keep records as accounting rules require. Analytics data in Google Analytics is kept according to the account settings.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to processing, or receive a copy of it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to inga.bankauske@gmail.com. If you think your rights have been violated, you may complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt) or your local authority.
7. Changes
We may need to update this policy. The latest version is always published on this page.
